A large industrial site required continuous noise monitoring adding to their existing SCADA system. The requirement was for a robust, weather proof solution that gave a continuous 4-20mA output signal.
A number of MK:427 outdoor microphones were integrated quickly into the system to provide live, on-line monitoring.
An industrial site in a remote location needed to monitor, measure and control boundary noise levels over the lifetime of a lengthy decomissioning and demolition project.
A semi-permanent noise monitor was installed with data downloaded remotely over a modem. Weather protection and reliability were top of the list for this application due to the remote location.
